TORSION BAR: The torsion bar suspension system uses a torsion bar which is connected to the frame and wheel. It acts as a spring loaded lever when the wheel moves up and down thus providing suspension. A leaf spring system uses bars of steel called leaves that effectively take up the shock of the road.
